Journal for Research in Public Health (JRPH)

This notice describes the rights and licenses applicable to articles published in the Journal for Research in Public Health (JRPH). By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) agree to this policy. No separate document sign-off is required.

1. License

The non-commercial use of articles is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, as currently displayed on the Creative Commons website.

2. Author(s)' Warranties

The author(s) warrant that the article:

• is original, written by the stated author(s), and has not been published before;
• contains no unlawful statements and does not infringe the rights of others;
• is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author(s) and is free of any third-party rights; and
• includes all necessary written permissions to quote from other sources, obtained by the author(s).

3. User Rights

JRPH aims to disseminate published articles as freely as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, users may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only. Users must attribute the authors and JRPH when distributing works from the journal in any other medium of publication.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain all rights to their published works, including (but not limited to):

4	The right to self-archive the article (please refer to the journal's deposit policy).
5	The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in the Journal for Research in Public Health.

5. Co-Authorship

If an article is jointly prepared by more than one author, the submitting author warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to agree to this copyright and license notice on their behalf, and agrees to inform the co-authors of the terms of this policy. JRPH will not be held liable for any matter arising from internal disputes among the authors. JRPH communicates only with the corresponding author.

6. Royalties

As an open access journal that disseminates articles free of charge under the Creative Commons license described above, JRPH does not provide royalties or other fees to authors. By submitting, the author(s) acknowledge this arrangement.

7. Miscellaneous

JRPH will publish (or arrange the publication of) an article once its editorial process has been successfully completed. The editors may modify the article with regard to punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing, and usage as deemed appropriate. The author(s) acknowledge that the article will be publicly accessible, and that access will be free of charge for readers, as stated in Section 3.
